local business people to the inaugural meeting of the new
group which was be held in the
function room at The Farmers
Restaurant/pub in South Street
Lancing at 6.30pm on Tuesday 8th
July 2008.
Andy added "I
have not begun the Network so as
to challenge existing business
groups and organisations in the
area, rather I have begun it to
get local business to do more of
what they do best, which is to
promote their goods and services
to the local community and to
each other".

reflect the interests and
ideas of their owners who
provide what local customers
need
- local shopping can
benefit the environment and
is
"sustainable";
less travel is needed to buy
what is required
